Perhaps one of the most dramatic transformations of a deck with which we have been involved. This client had an existing dilapidated, faded, composite deck which was in dire need of an overhaul. We were certainly up for the challenge. We stripped the deck down to its structure, replaced and upgraded its rotten joists and beams, and enclosed its base with wolmanized plywood, metal lathe, and thinset. We then installed thin stone veneer, Ipe wood decking, wrought iron railing, and lighting to create a magnificent, bold, durable deck that provides a dramatic space for entertaining, as well as, a very functional and beautiful storage area for winter storage of pool chairs, pool equipment, and the like. Complemented with a wide variety of plants, this project will impress for years.
